Allergy Advocates NY: A Night of Celebration, Impact, and Immuniforce on Stage.

There are nights that don’t just celebrate progress, they define it. On October 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at ArtisanWorks in Rochester, the Allergy Advocates NY Celebrate Huge Impact event will honor courage, creativity, and the unstoppable spirit of a community fighting for a safer tomorrow..


This annual celebration honors the people and policies that are transforming the landscape for those living with life-threatening allergies. It is a chance to reflect on progress, recognize champions, and spark inspiration for the work that lies ahead.


Honoring Our 2025 Awardees

This year’s Allergy Action Awards highlight some of the most influential voices in allergy awareness and policy. Each of these honorees has dedicated their time, expertise, and advocacy to making New York, and the nation, a safer place for children and families living with food allergies and asthma.

  • John J. Condemi Award – Dr. Jeanne Lomas, DORecognized for her leadership and impact in advancing allergy care and education.

  • Ruth T. Cornell Award – Jason LindeHonored for his tireless advocacy in shaping policy and building stronger protections for those with life-threatening allergies.

  • Nancy Sander Award – Nancy SanderCelebrated as a pioneer whose lived experience and dedication continue to empower families across the country.

  • Empire State Allergy Action Awards – Assembly Member Linda B. Rosenthal and Senator Pete HarckhamRecognized for their legislative leadership in championing policies that expand access to epinephrine and strengthen safety measures for children in schools and childcare settings.


Together, these honorees represent the heart of advocacy: courage, persistence, and a deep commitment to community.

Immuniforce Takes the Stage.

Adding a powerful creative element to the night, guests will experience a staged reading of Immuniforce: The Anaphylaxis Strike.


Written by Thomas Silvera, directed by Sandi Henschel, and performed by a talented cast of local , this heartwarming story introduces the heroes of Allergyville as they unite to confront the villain Anaphylaxis. Beyond entertainment, the performance carries a vital message of courage, resilience, and advocacy that resonates with children and adults alike.





A Family-Friendly Celebration

The evening will be filled with community, creativity, and connection. Guests can look forward to:

  • Balloon artistry from Rose Hasan of Balloony Sandwiches

  • Hosting by Brenda Tremblay of WXXI Radio

  • Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks in a welcoming setting

This celebration is designed to inspire, uplift, and remind us all of the progress we have made and the work that continues.


Admission is Free, Support is Welcome

Attendance is free, but the impact of this event goes far beyond the awards and performances. Every show of support helps Allergy Advocates NY build safer, more inclusive communities for those living with life-threatening allergies.
